Job Summary
The Unit Services Representative plays a critical role in facilitating positive guest relations with patients, family members, visitors, and physicians. This includes welcoming and explaining hospital and unit policies and procedures, addressing problems and concerns, and providing clerical support to the unit and Nurse Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet patients, family members, visitors, and physicians in a professional and courteous manner.
- Explain hospital and unit policies and procedures to ensure a positive experience.
- Address problems and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide clerical support to the unit and Nurse Manager, including data entry and record-keeping.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
