Job Overview

The Town of Easton seeks an experienced and skilled Arborist Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Urban Forestry department, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and beauty of our town's trees.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

This is a full-time non-exempt position that requires the ability to work outdoors in all types of weather, lift heavy objects, and operate equipment such as bucket trucks. A valid CDL Class B license is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain the appearance and health of trees within the town right-of-way through pruning, planting, and removal.
  2. Operate equipment such as bucket trucks to perform tree-related tasks.
  3. Assist other crews and perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
  4. Work in various environments, including above, at, and below grade, and from ladders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid CDL Class B license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in all types of weather.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
