Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Saint Luke's Community Hospital in Leawood, KS. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform primary nursing functions of assessing, planning, directing, performing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room and Inpatient/Telemetry Unit.
  • Serve as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care and deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously, managing time and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of ED RN experience.
  • ACLS, PALS & TNCC required but can be obtained after hire.
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
