Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Marriott Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cooks and workers, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and workers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays that exceed our guests' expectations.
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared to ensure that we meet the demands of our guests.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts that showcase our culinary expertise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide our culinary team.
  • Strong knowledge of food presentation and display techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
