Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder in Rapid City, South Dakota. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance, component identification, and minor repairs. You will also be required to perform preventive maintenance with training and support, as well as facility maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs basic vehicle maintenance
  • Performs component identification and minor repairs
  • Performs preventive maintenance with training and support
  • Performs facility maintenance duties
  • Diagnoses minor mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • One (1) year or more experience in transportation maintenance, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
