Material Handler

Rochester Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler I to join our team. As a Material Handler I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouses, managing the receipt and shipment of materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to our manufacturing facilities and customers.
- Manage inventory levels, tracking and reporting on stock levels, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure that all materials received meet quality standards and are properly stored and handled.
- Work closely with the Manufacturing team to ensure that all product movements between manufacturing facilities and warehouses are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage the outbound process for shipments of kits and assemblies to subcontractors, ensuring compliance with subcontractor-specific terms and conditions.
- Process all test service materials, including receiving and shipping to designated addresses.
- Receive and dispatch Return Material Authorization (RMA) materials, ensuring compliance with quality specifications and standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a dynamic, fast-paced semiconductor environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with prior forklift experience preferred.
