Technical Drafter

Company Overview:

Nesco Resource is a leading provider of contract staffing solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Technical Drafter to join our team.

Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Drafter to assist in the creation, revision, and storage of electronic drawing files. As a member of our global drafting department, you will work closely with the area drafting lead to complete all required work prior to release into the system.

Key responsibilities include:

• Correcting redlined models/drawings issued by the drafting lead or engineering/development teams.
• Converting legacy hand-drawn and AutoCAD drawings into 3D models and associative drawings.
• Creating 2D drawings from existing 3D models created by other users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting/CAD, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to company standards and guidelines.
• Able to work in a hybrid work schedule, with three to four days of remote work per week.
