Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Miami Jewish Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide training and education to family members and caregivers on speech and language development.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions and strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • One year of experience in speech language pathology, preferably working with geriatric populations.
  • Florida licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Certified with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving and clinical judgment skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
