Master Craftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter/Fabricator to join our team at Harlequin Design New York Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality retail displays and pop-up spaces that exceed our clients' expectations.

• Collaborate with our design team to interpret technical drawings and craft displays and pop-up spaces using a variety of materials.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to meet project complexities and tight deadlines.
• Ensure all completed work meets our company's exacting quality standards and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to resolve any quality issues or project lead time challenges.
• Be flexible with your work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during busy periods, to ensure timely project completion.

• A minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience.
• Experience in fast-paced interdisciplinary fabrication.
• Experience in retail display is advantageous.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organization skills to thrive in a demanding environment.

• Competitive hourly rate: $28 - $36 per hour based on experience.
• 30-minute lunch break.
• 15 days holiday per year.
