Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at LifeBridge Health, you will perform ultrasound sonographic procedures in accordance with established protocols. Your primary responsibility will be to demonstrate age-appropriate care towards all patients, consistently demonstrating competence in performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations with special attention to abdominal, retroperitoneal, and vascular scans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound sonographic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Demonstrate age-appropriate care towards all patients.
  • Consistently demonstrate competence in performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations.
  • Assist with minor ultrasound invasive procedures, such as cyst aspiration and biopsies.
  • Obtain and relay information related to exams.
  • Provide support to the Ultrasound Department to aid workflow.
Requirements:
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
  • Graduate of an AMA Accredited school of Ultrasound.
  • Less than 1 year of experience.
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification.
  • ARDMS Certified or board eligible.
  • Board certified within 1 year of hire.
