Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Stillwater Hospice. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-focused care to our terminally ill patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe personal care and support for patients in our Hospice Home and in the field.
  • Work under the direction of the Patient Care Director and/or RN Case Manager to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices in hospice care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of 105 hours of the CNA certification program and current/active CNA license.
  • Minimum six (6) months of CNA/HHA experience within the last twenty-four (24) months in the home health, long-term care, or hospital setting.
  • RN nursing students who have successfully completed courses with a grade of "C" or better and who currently possess an active CNA License will be considered.
