Job Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure accurate reconciliation of all retail transactions processed through gift cards, debit, or credit cards.

This position is responsible for reviewing chargebacks and disputes related to credit card transactions, as well as managing inquiries from customers and stores regarding Point-of-Sale (POS) and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) transactions. Additionally, the role involves preparing relevant journal entries (JEs) to maintain financial accuracy.

This position plays a crucial role in providing financial management services that facilitate informed decision-making based on data analysis.


Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Lak George Jenkins Building / Chart Warehouse B001

Compensation:
Minimum Base Pay: $19.65
Maximum Base Pay: $27.10

Bonus Structure:

To acknowledge associates for their contributions throughout the year, a Holiday Bonus is provided in November. The bonus structure is as follows:

  • First year: 15 hours of pay
  • Second year: One week's pay
  • Subsequent years: Two weeks' pay

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related analytical field with no relevant business experience, or
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or a related analytical field with at least 2 years of relevant business experience, or
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant business experience.

Additional skills include:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in managing a high volume of work with accuracy
  • Flexibility and productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and auditing skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related analytical field with 2 years of EFT Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Accounting principles and Banking Regulation E
  • Familiarity with QIP methodology
