The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the functions related to Accounts Receivable and General Accounting. This role involves supervising the accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial management reports, including internal and external monthly financial statements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead and manage the accounting staff to guarantee the precision of financial reporting.
- Provide continuous guidance to key departmental and operational managers to maintain a long-term strategic focus on stability and targeted objectives.
- Demonstrate expertise in month-end closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of the Profit & Loss statement and balance sheet through thorough reviews of reconciliations performed by accountants.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the accounting team through strong leadership and supervision.
- Oversee daily cash reconciliation, monthly bank reconciliations, and the entry of payroll journal entries.
- Conduct monthly depreciation analysis and ensure proper posting.
- Manage all tax calculations, remittances, filings, and postings, including audit management and various tax returns.
- Assist the Assistant Controller in developing effective controls, policies, and processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong project management, time management, team-building, and leadership abilities; capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and relevant accounting software.
