The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to deliver exceptional healthcare services to patients in the Hematology/Oncology department.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive and compassionate clinical care to both inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology patients.
- Mentor and guide trainees while collaborating with mid-level providers and supporting healthcare professionals in ancillary services.
- Engage in a robust ACGME-accredited fellowship training program, offering ample teaching opportunities.
- Participate in health services research, clinical trials, and basic science initiatives.
- Review and resolve outpatient hematology/oncology consults, ensuring timely and appropriate patient care.
- Conduct thorough history and physical examinations, establish medical diagnoses, and formulate treatment plans.
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner.
Salary: Competitive salary with annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases.

- ABIM Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is preferred.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Monday to Friday, with hours subject to change based on agency needs.
Additional Information:Participation in vaccination programs for seasonal influenza and COVID-19 is required for all healthcare personnel.
