FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER

The Lewis Group of Companies is seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee operations at a well-established residential community. This role involves managing a vibrant community of over 300 units, providing an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the Maintenance and Grounds teams.
  • Exhibit comprehensive maintenance expertise across various disciplines within the residential sector.
  • Perform and manage tasks related to carpentry, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance installation and repair.
  • Prepare units for new residents and ensure the upkeep of current resident units.
  • Collaborate with the community manager and staff to maintain property standards.
  • Conduct property inspections alongside the community manager.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and negotiations for external services.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the leasing office and recreational facilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance for operational needs.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy items as necessary.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, and walking throughout the community.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and ladders as required.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly wage for this position starts at $33 or more, based on experience, along with eligibility for annual bonuses and raises. Additional benefits include a monthly cell phone allowance, a comprehensive tool kit, uniforms, training opportunities, apartment discounts, and robust corporate support.
