Job Title: Logistics Coordination Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordination Specialist to join our team at Brahmin Leather Works LLC in Fairhaven, MA. As a key member of our Factory Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely shipment of high-quality leather goods.

About the Role:

  • You will pack and unpack orders while maintaining a department schedule of up to 50 pounds.
  • Effectively use organization systems and warehouse technology to locate and gather stock.
  • Accurately update spreadsheets and stock information, order, and receive inventory.
  • Create shipping labels and handle shipping information. Send booking requests to shipping lines, and process UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL shipments.
  • Problem-solve for customers and suppliers about shipping routes, delayed items, and rush orders.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance team with receiving, inspecting, testing, and cutting fine leathers.
  • Assist the Production team with hardware inventory and other tasks as assigned.
  • Perform administrative duties like answering phones, updating records, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with warehouse overseers and managers about product ordering and storage.
  • Maintain good customer relationships and answer any customer questions.
  • Keep organized shipping records, including statements of origin, shipping costs, products shipped, and receipt dates.
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer issues that pop up regularly; work to solve these administrative or organizational problems to increase warehouse and dispatch efficiency.
  • Develop knowledge about freight, export papers, and sea shipping regulations and practices.
  • Work with the shipping team to complete orders on time.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or HSED/GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed.
  • Previous experience is not required but is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write English.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
