About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a per diem opportunity, this role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work in a variety of settings, including Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center, and Imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, verifying correct patient, parameters, protocol, imaging site, and exam.
  • Identify, prepare, and administer contrast as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper identification is recorded.
  • Assume responsibility for patient needs during procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • On call as needed.
