Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Nurse Educator, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of hospice care by educating and mentoring our nursing staff. Your expertise and passion for end-of-life care will help us deliver the highest standard of care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in hospice and palliative care.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to promote best practices in end-of-life care.
- Provide guidance and support to our nursing staff to help them navigate complex care situations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in hospice and palliative care, and incorporate this knowledge into our educational programs.
- 3 years of experience in hospice care required.
- 2 years of prior skilled Registered Nursing experience with increasing responsibility.
- Strong understanding and ability to communicate hospice and palliative philosophy.
- Active unencumbered state RN license.
- Current driver's license and auto liability coverage.
- MUST possess accurate and clear oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's in Nursing required.
- Master's in Nurse Education preferred.
