Job Overview

The National Security Analyst will provide program management, international engagement, and intelligence and threat assessment support to NA-82 for the DOE/NNSA.

This role requires exceptional communication skills to work with internal/external partners on multiple classified systems. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in business, management, public policy, national security, international affairs, or related policy or technical field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with stakeholders on sensitive information and develop inputs to reports.
  • Provide project support to NA-82 Applications Division on intelligence and threat assessment projects.
  • Liaise with external partners—such as the IC, DOJ/FBI, DOE/NNSA partner offices, and international partners—on nuclear threat reduction, nuclear security, and intelligence and threat assessment engagements.
  • Support management of NA-82 intelligence and threat assessment projects and analysis at the national laboratories pertaining to emerging technologies and open-source information.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear counterterrorism policies is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize, monitor, and work on multiple projects concurrently.
