We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Job Summary:

This is a 12-week travel assignment with a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting and possess a strong understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting
  • IL License
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • ARRT

Work Environment:

This is a 4-10 hour day shift position with some evening, weekend, and holiday call coverage required. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 338 staffed beds.

Equipment and Devices:

The ideal candidate will have experience with fluoroscopy and a strong understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures. Siemens equipment is preferred.
