Job Overview
ShiftCode Analytics seeks a skilled HPC Systems Engineer to collaborate with our Dell HPC engineers, architects, and sales staff. As an onsite expert in Austin, TX, you will be responsible for benchmarking HPC systems designs on new processor architectures and infrastructure components.
Responsibilities
- Benchmark HPC systems designs on emerging processor architectures and infrastructure components.
- Develop performance projection models to predict application performance on future technologies.
- Maintain relationships with partners' engineering teams and track their technology roadmap.
- Document results in technical reports, white papers, and external blogs.
Requirements
- Experience with HPC Systems environments and Infrastructures technologies and workloads.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or at least 6 years of experience in HPC Systems and Infrastructure technologies.
- Advanced working experience with Linux, including OS internals and machine architectures for performance profiling and optimizations.
- Expertise in MPI applications, RoCE technologies, and high-performance interconnects.
- Proven experience developing technical collateral, including documentation and presentations of solution architectural designs.
- Effective experience managing vendor relationships, collaborating across organizations, and business units.
- Proficient in low-latency, high-speed network architectures and protocols.
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
