Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioner to join our team at Changing Lives at Home Mental Health, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adolescents and young adults with emotional and behavioral disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support clients in a group home setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in daily activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote social, physical, creative, and emotional development.
  • Provide guidance and support in daily living skills, including meal planning, preparation, and hygiene.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy living environment.
  • Collaborate with clinical and group home staff to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • CPR and First-Aid certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Residential Child Care Practitioner Certification (within 180 days of hire date)
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
  • At least 2 years of experience working with emotionally/behaviorally disturbed adolescents or in a group home setting
  • 6 months as a Residential Childcare Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of college education with coursework in psychology, sociology, recreation, or special education
