We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioner to join our team at Changing Lives at Home Mental Health, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adolescents and young adults with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support clients in a group home setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in daily activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote social, physical, creative, and emotional development.
- Provide guidance and support in daily living skills, including meal planning, preparation, and hygiene.
- Monitor and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy living environment.
- Collaborate with clinical and group home staff to ensure seamless care and support.
- CPR and First-Aid certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Residential Child Care Practitioner Certification (within 180 days of hire date)
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
- At least 2 years of experience working with emotionally/behaviorally disturbed adolescents or in a group home setting
- 6 months as a Residential Childcare Practitioner
- 2 years of college education with coursework in psychology, sociology, recreation, or special education
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 per hour, based on experience and weekend availability. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values the well-being and growth of our staff.
