Job Summary

Duit Construction is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for placing, finishing, and protecting concrete, as well as repairing and restoring existing concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Smooth concrete surfaces using hand trowels or bull floats.
  • Cut joints and grooves in concrete to control cracking.
  • Apply surface treatments and restore concrete surfaces.
  • Monitor weather conditions and their impact on concrete curing.
  • Work collaboratively with others and follow supervisor instructions.
  • Perform various tasks and duties as required.
  • Work within defined standards of accuracy.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to use arms and hands to reach, handle, and manipulate objects.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Good vision and hearing.
