We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Key Responsibilities- Administer and monitor patients on cardiac medications, titratable vasoactive infusions, and EKG rhythms.
- Care for patients with arterial and venous access sheaths, invasive drains, and observe cardiovascular, neurovascular, and pulmonary status.
- Communicate with physicians about orders and procedures, perform conscious sedation under physician direction, and pre-procedure prep.
- Assist with patient care, incorporate family-focused care by teaching necessary pre- and post-hospital care.
- Operate in a nursing pod environment with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, ensuring high-quality care and close access to necessary resources.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
- Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure and current BLS certification required at the time of hire.
- ACLS certification within 18 months of hire.
- Minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience in telemetry or related cardiac clinical setting preferred.
