About the Role:
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and provides treatment for patients referred to the Speech Therapy Department. This role involves conducting clinical assessments tailored to the patient's diagnosis and developing treatment plans that are goal-oriented based on evaluation results and the patient's personal objectives, ensuring they are functional, measurable, and achievable. The therapist supports patients in reaching their goals through effective interventions and timely discharge planning, considering the anticipated needs of the patient.
Qualifications:
- Education: A minimum of a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid license in the State of Indiana as a Speech Language Pathologist and possess CPR certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a Speech Therapy Clinic is preferred, although new graduates in their Clinical Fellowship Year from accredited programs will be considered (not applicable for PRN positions).
