The MRI Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by utilizing advanced imaging technology to assist in diagnosing various medical conditions. This position requires a deep understanding of magnetic resonance imaging techniques and patient care across all age groups.
Work Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7 AM - 7 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging examinations while adhering to established protocols and standards.
- Providing comprehensive patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Collaborating closely with the supervising Radiologist to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.
Experience:
A minimum of one year in a Radiology Technologist role, with at least six months of experience specifically in MRI technology is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
Additional Skills:
BLS certification is required. Advanced certification in MRI (MR) from ARRT is preferred.
