Tax Associate

Job Overview:

At H&R Block, we're seeking a talented Tax Associate to join our team. As a Tax Associate, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional tax services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct tax interviews with clients, prepare accurate tax returns, and generate business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration

Requirements:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools, video, phone, and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
• Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher
