Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of residents to assess their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the referring physician.
- Provide hands-on treatment and rehabilitation services in a supportive environment.
- Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for residents.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and billing.
- Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides.
- Identify residents who may benefit from physical therapy interventions.
Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy License in Virginia.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
