Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kemps. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work closely with our skilled Maintenance Team to ensure the care and maintenance of all property and production assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist on equipment repairs and maintenance projects
  • Work on various equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control, and packaging equipment
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Technician team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • 1-year experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  • Minimum 1-year experience with technical skills such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC, and/or HVAC
  • Ability to work in a cold, wet environment with moderate to high noise volume
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually the entire shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
