Flowserve Corporation: CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Flowserve Corporation is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift.

Job Summary:

This is a CNC machinist position responsible for operating a 5 Axis CNC Mazak Integrex. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture parts to required specifications and standards using the Mazak Integrex machine.
  • Develop, design, and grind special tooling instruments and fixtures required for non-standard and experimental products.
  • Develop the machining processes to ensure the product is produced efficiently.
  • Exhibit behavior that contributes toward an environment that encourages team building, decision making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to safe work habits, rules, and practices, including the correct use of safety devices and equipment.
  • Responsible for the quality of work performed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience operating a 5 axis CNC machine, CNC mill/drill or CNC Lathe and CNC Mill.
  • Must possess previous experience in gauge training, geometric tolerancing, and blueprint reading.
  • Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Strong self-motivation, willingness to learn, and work ethic.
