Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Clinician III to join our Consultation Services team at Northern Light Health. As a licensed clinical social worker, you will provide psychiatric evaluations and consultation services to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to identify potential therapeutic targets for active treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide coaching, training, and supervision to clinicians and other hospital personnel as assigned.
  • Collaborate with community services and providers to advocate for the most appropriate, least restrictive services for patients.
  • Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in psychiatric consultation services or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Maine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
