Senior Tax Manager - Technology and Life Sciences

Moss Adams is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our Technology and Life Sciences team. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax engagements, developing and implementing tax strategies, and providing technical guidance to clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead tax engagements for clients in the Technology and Life Sciences industries
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings
  • Provide technical guidance to clients on tax matters, including corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
  • Supervise and train junior staff members on tax procedures and best practices
  • Develop and execute business development plans to grow the tax practice
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; Master's degree in Taxation preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred
  • Proven experience in technology, communications, and/or life sciences preferred
  • CPA or Bar License required
  • Minimum of 4 years supervising and training experience
  • Subject matter expert in corporate, partnership, individual or trust and estate taxation required; prior experience working with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients preferred
  • Proven market facing skills required to develop new business and sustain existing excellent client relationships
