About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Quality Control Manager to join our team at Bergelectric. As a Site Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with the management team to develop, implement, and continuously improve quality-focused standards, procedures, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of our projects are performed in accordance with established quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Leadership: Lead and manage a team of quality control personnel to ensure effective project execution and quality delivery.
  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing to verify compliance with established quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to the project manager on quality issues and progress of problem resolutions.
  • Reporting: Compile and prepare reports for analysis and evaluation as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience/knowledge of electrical construction.
  • Certifications: Must hold a Journeyman certification card.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge related to NEC code, Low Voltage systems (Fire Alarm, Tele-Data, Security, Audio/Visual, etc.), and construction drawings and specifications.
  • Skills: Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, i.e., Outlook, Excel, etc., and BIM software such as Bluebeam.
  • Safety: Working knowledge of safety rules and regulations and general construction safety on job sites.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Ability to interact with employees effectively, persuasively, and tactfully at all levels of the organization.

We offer a competitive salary of $125,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
