As a Host and Hostess at Gaylord Hotels, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for seating guests, guiding them through the dining rooms, and ensuring that their needs are met throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet guests and determine the number in their party
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and providing a clean and current menu
• Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and the well-being of guests
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• No related work experience required
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
