Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is between $100,400.00 and $150,600.00 per year. The final fixed pay offer will depend on various factors, including role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience, education, and work location.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our eTrading Technology team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for solving complex challenges in the financial industry to help our global business and its customers succeed. You will work closely with our team to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions.

  • Assist the team in supporting existing distributed applications.
  • Develop and debug DataStage applications.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Participate in DataStage, Linux, DB2, and Oracle upgrades.
  • Adopt and deliver using HSBC's agile methodology.
  • Work independently and have intellectual curiosity.
  • Adopt to new technologies like GCP, Qlik development.
  • Adopt to DevOps and build CICD pipelines.
  • Develop and understand stored procedures.
  • Schedule scripts and DataStage jobs using ControlM tools.
  • Build APIs using Python.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of direct mail, communications strategy, and credit card products and services.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, time management, strategic planning, communications, analytical, decision-making, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and respond positively to change and flexibility when addressing shifting or competing priorities.
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate within large and complex organizations and at senior levels within the organization.
