Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of food and food-related products to customers across the country.

About the Job:

• Salary: $75,000 - $100,000+ Annually with Uncapped Pay Potential
• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Various locations
• Experience: 1 year commercial driving experience

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Unload products from trailers, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
• Collect money, if required, and load customer returns onto the trailer.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL A license required.
• Able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
