Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants, and ensure a high level of quality care is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants to ensure a high level of quality care
- Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
- Keep physician and/or other healthcare professionals informed of changes in resident conditions
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program
- RN or LPN license for the state in which practicing
- CPR certified
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
