Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team at Integrity Locums. The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing comprehensive care to patients with obstetric and gynecologic needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to obstetric emergencies and provide timely intervention during labor and delivery.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic examinations.
  • Perform deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean sections, as required, and provide immediate postpartum care.
  • Take assigned and unassigned Emergency Dept. call for GYN and OB patients.
  • Perform urgent and emergent gynecology consults, including surgical inventions for hospital patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, midwives, and anesthesiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in patient education regarding prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, and general women's health.
  • Respond promptly to obstetric and gynecologic consultations, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Keep accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in obstetric and gynecologic medicine through continuous education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Board Certified/ Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Active OH License or IMLC in Hand Required.
  • ABLS, BLS.
  • Low and High Risky Pregnancy, FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, Amniocentesis, Routine Delivery, Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery: C-Section, Multiple Births, Repair of 3rd and 4th Degree Lacerations, Surgical Gynecology, Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's.

6 RNs will be providing support to the successful candidate.

Epic will be used as the EMR system.
