We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Surpass Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teens with autism.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis, to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement behavioral skills training to teach direct care staff the skills needed for client programs, monitoring progress regularly via visual analysis and making program changes as indicated.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA procedures and interventions.
- Develop individualized programming based on client needs and caregiver requirements.
- Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a multidisciplinary team setting, preferred.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB, required.
- Ability to work with integrity and adhere to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA practices, and company policies.
- Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position (on the floor or in a chair) to a standing position as well as the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
