Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a pediatric urology program in Toledo with a focus on superb outcomes, innovative research, and outstanding education programs.
  • Collaborate with the Urology Department Chief and hospital administration to develop and implement strategies for clinical, academic, and research excellence.
  • Provide educational leadership within the field of pediatric urology and children's surgery, including offering high-level pediatric urology training for residents.
  • Lead quality and safety initiatives, evaluating clinical operations and implementing programs to drive exceptional patient safety and quality performance.
  • Develop and implement best practice standards, including innovative models of practice, patient satisfaction, and quality initiatives.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Urology, and eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in Ohio.
  • Proven success in building and leading a urology program, with a distinguished record of clinical care, teaching, and research.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Collegial leadership style, with the ability to work in a collaborative manner as part of a senior leadership team.
