Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team at Froedtert Health. Responsibilities:
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your duties will include conducting thorough patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination. You will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in family medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will also need to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, and a master's degree in nursing is required for Nurse Practitioners. Physician Assistants must have a bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies and current state certification as a PA. Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required for Nurse Practitioners. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is also required for Nurse Practitioners. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
