Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative PRN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for registering patients, collecting insurance and billing information, and ensuring accurate data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview patients and families to obtain registration information and enter accurate data into our system.
- Collect and enter insurance policy numbers, group numbers, addresses, and telephone numbers, as well as patient billing and clinical data.
- Conduct verbal interviews with patients and/or families to gather registration information.
- Identify patient liabilities, obtain pre-service payments, counsel patients on payer financial waivers, and process co-payments collections.
- Complete computer and telephone pre-registrations to maintain patient flow.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred.
- High school diploma/GED or professional/vocational/trade training required.
Travel Requirements
This role requires minimal travel.
