Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Cambay Healthcare LLC. This is a travel contract position in a telemetry unit, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide hands-on care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort. Monitor patient vitals and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
  • Telemetry Monitoring: Observe and report on patients' telemetry readings, providing critical data to the healthcare team.
  • Documentation: Accurately record patient information and care provided in the electronic charting system (Cerner).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, following all infection control procedures and protocols.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
  • Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active certification.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a telemetry or critical care setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong observational skills, ability to perform under pressure, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Charting System: Experience with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as required.
