Work Environment:
This role is an on-site position, requiring flexibility in work hours, including weekends and holidays.

Information Session:
Interested candidates are encouraged to attend an information session to learn more about the role. Attendance is optional and does not require prior registration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patrols in designated areas to enforce laws, deter crime, and safeguard lives and property.
  • Apprehend individuals violating laws, prepare detailed reports, and assist in legal proceedings.
  • Execute arrest warrants and conduct searches as necessary.
  • Enforce traffic regulations, document accidents, and investigate serious incidents.
  • Gather, assess, and secure evidence at crime scenes.
  • Interview witnesses and suspects, preparing formal statements for court presentation.
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies in residential and commercial settings.
  • Ensure the safety of individuals, including public figures.
  • Manage lost, stolen, or abandoned property.
  • Utilize computer systems to access and input vital information.
Working Conditions: Exposure to potentially hazardous situations and life-threatening circumstances.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
Completion of a Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice Degree through an accredited program and successful completion of the required licensing examination.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Licenses/Certifications:
Must obtain necessary certifications within the specified timeframe and maintain a valid driver's license.

State Requirements:

  • No felony convictions.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation.
Medical and Psychological Evaluations:
Candidates must pass medical and psychological assessments, including drug screening, prior to employment.

Physical Demands:
This role requires physical and mental stamina. Candidates will be evaluated on fitness standards during training.

Selection Process:
Qualified candidates will be notified for further assessments and interviews based on their application review.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Commitment to maintaining required licensing and continuing education.
  • Understanding of laws and police procedures relevant to the role.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
