Job Overview

Position Summary: The Warehouse Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and management of materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize wireless RF devices or desktop computers to execute all bar code functions, including pulling, putting away, and confirming shipments.
  2. Select pick tickets to identify items that need to be picked, packed, palletized, or shipped.
  3. Lift, move, sort, or position pallets, boxes, and items from designated storage locations to staging areas, build areas, pallets, or crates.
  4. Ensure accuracy in inventory and labeling for items being picked, packed, palletized, shipped, or stored.
  5. Securely band and/or wrap pallets and crates in a timely manner.
  6. Load and unload delivery trucks as required.
  7. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including breakage and damage reports.
  8. Participate in the cycle counting program as needed to maintain inventory integrity.
  9. Utilize computer systems and software to print necessary documents and labels and to perform inventory transactions.
  10. Operate equipment safely and effectively, including sit-down forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, two-wheeled carts, and pallet jacks.
  11. Inspect equipment regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.
  12. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols such as wearing steel-toed shoes.
  13. Assist in other departments as needed to support overall operations.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment: The role requires a commitment to safety and organization in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
