THE ROLE The Mobile Food Service Manager will report directly to the General Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing all operations related to the mobile food service, managing a small team of culinary staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee mobile food service operations, including transportation to events and food preparation for guests.
  • Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and operational safety standards.
  • Supervise and train team members for event execution.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food items while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock of supplies within the mobile unit.
  • Ensure consistent high-quality food and service standards are met.
  • Adhere to company guidelines to enhance sales and reduce operational costs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold cleanliness standards across all service areas.
  • Manage safety audits and ensure adherence to health regulations.
  • Keep accurate financial records related to the mobile food service operations and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Foster open communication and maintain professional relationships with all AEG departments and venue staff.


To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform all essential duties at a high level.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a mobile food service, preferably in the hospitality sector.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's license is required.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
  • At least 3 years of culinary experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to work efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining stamina and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems is essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service and effective leadership.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift over 30 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
