Fitness Ambassador

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This role requires a passion for fitness and a commitment to providing a Judgement Free Zone where everyone feels accepted and respected.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
• Respond to member inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to Assistant Managers or Managers as needed.
• Handle front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities.

• Customer service background preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
• Diplomacy and effective communication are key.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Continual standing and walking during shifts.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shifts.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Will encounter toxic chemicals during shifts.
• Must be able to move around the club, including bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting.
