Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
- Lead the company's Safety Program, providing comprehensive training and guidance to all personnel.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to surveys, design, construction, modification, and maintenance of building structures, equipment, and machines.
- Direct the execution of capital projects, ensuring timelines and budgetary goals are met.
- Determine schedules and assignments for work activities based on priorities, equipment needs, and the skills of maintenance staff and contractors.
- Guide, motivate, and discipline direct reports following best management practices and company guidelines.
- Monitor employees' work levels and review performance to ensure goals are achieved.
- Monitor tool and part inventories, as well as the condition and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Review plans and specifications for new and existing machinery or equipment to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing safety.
- BS in mechanical or electrical engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience in equipment maintenance management and reliability in a large industrial setting.
- Proven knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to general industry, combined with knowledge in the application of engineering principles and technology.
- Strong leadership skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with strict attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
