About the RoleThe CV Surgery-Pulmonary Stepdown Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient-centered care, working collaboratively with medical providers to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Performing procedures or other functions as ordered by medical providers
- Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Maintaining a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients
