Linchpin Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist III to join our team. As an IT Specialist III, you will play a critical role in modernizing the global network of the Navy and Marine Corps.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects.
- Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical Information Technology (IT) solutions through the application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
- Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
- Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
- Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer.
- Participate in business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
- Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure critical project criteria.
- Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.
- IAT Level II certification.
- CompTIA Security + certification.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- 4+ years of experience related to Information Technology (IT).
- Demonstrated experience applying creative solutions to IT-related problems.
- Demonstrated experience having initiative in the workplace.
- Experience in Information Systems (IS).
- Specialized experience in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolution.
- Background in Cybersecurity is highly preferred.
